Church-wide Forum II • Sunday, September 7 • We’ll gather for potluck lunch in Harper Hall following worship, and then hold our forum.   Children will join their families for lunch in Harper Hall, and then childcare will be provided for infants–6th grade.   The Stewardship Council is organizing the potluck. Please bring the following item to share (according to last name):

H–M: Please bring a vegetable to share
N–S: Please bring a dessert to share
T–Z: Please bring either a salad or vegetable to share

BOOKS-FOR-THE-BORDER at XYZ: "Lester Meriwether strongly believes that every child deserves to grow up in a home with books. Books-for-the-Border is a way to achieve this goal through Literacy ConneXus, a nonprofit in partnership with BGCT, which helps churches throughout Texas come alongside people in reducing poverty." So wrote Carol Gene Graves in April of this year, and at our next XYZ meeting we will consider this as an outreach effort of XYZ, in discussion with Meriwether.   Thursday, August 28, 10:30-1:00 (Harper Hall).
