Missions:
Faith and faithful action go hand-in-hand at Seventh as we strive to do God’s work together. During each semester, there are ministry opportunities with your immediate neighbors in the next pew and with our neighbors in Waco. Regular college mission trips extend the outreach around the United States and Seventh students have had support from the church for overseas mission work. Whether feeding the poor, holding a crying child, sharing the Gospel or wherever your calling lies, we want to work with you to put your faith into action.
Bible Study:
One important way God speaks to us is through the Bible. Disciplined study of the Bible is a way we seek to know God better. At Seventh, we are blessed with many members with advanced training in biblical studies who are involved with college Bible study. This isn’t your religion class, though. Our studies are focused on both understanding and application. What does the Bible have to say for how you live your life in college? How do decisions you make today affect the rest of your life? Seek God through the Bible with us here at Seventh, Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. on the 3rd floor of the Melton Building (right behind Waco Hall) in Room 303.
Worship:
Welcome to worship. The phone. The iPod. The TV. The car. The classes. The job. Noise and activity is a part of life. When it comes to time to hear the gentle whispers of God, it can be really hard to make them out. Come find sanctuary from the world in the worship service at Seventh. Our biblical preaching, beautiful music and thought-provoking readings all help you to meet God in a meaningful way each week.
Retreats:
Sometimes you need to get away from it all to be with God and God’s people. We take the opportunity each year to go on retreat. It’s a time for fun with the family of God, a little extra rest, some great speakers and more.
Events:
We have both regular weekly and special events.
- College Sunday School, Sundays at 9:30 in the college suite on the 3rd Floor of the Melton Building
- Seventh Family Dinner ($3 for students) Wednesdays at 5:15 on the 1st floor of the Melton Building
- College Bible Study, Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. in the college suite on the 3rd Floor of the Melton Building
- Missions in Action – monthly missions projects.
