Take time to meet the adults of Seventh & James Baptist Church, and you will discover a wonderful diversity of individuals who are united here in the family of God. Our ministries for adults reflect this diversity, with Sunday school classes, Bible study groups, fellowships, and workshops that cross all the lines of distinction - gender, age, ethnicity, marital status, and so on. Gatherings, both formal and informal, of persons with common interests and experiences occur as well. Wednesday evenings include a fellowship supper, prayers, celebrations and sharing of ideas and insights from some of our members and special guests. Special educational events such as the Leuschner Lectures, seasonal Bible studies, and the summer Chautauqua series complement the Sunday school. Opportunities abound for service as well as for spiritual growth.

The Women of Seventh

The Women of Seventh have a wide range of activities that all take place on a monthly basis.

The Women of Seventh Dinner Group: The women of Seventh meet the 1st Monday of the month at various restaurants at 5:45 p.m.  Hostesses rotate responsibility for choosing restaurants.  Contact the church for more information. Please feel free to come and bring a guest.

The Women of Seventh Luncheon Group: The women of Seventh meet the 2nd Thursday of the month at various restaurants at 12:15 p.m.  Hostesses rotate responsibility for choosing restaurants. Contact the church for more information. Please feel free to come and bring a guest.

Fabric & Fiber Group: This women’s group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month in various homes. Bring any handiwork you want to work on. Contact the church for more information.

The Men of Seventh

Men's Prayer Breakfast: The men of the church meet on the first Saturday of every month for breakfast, fellowship and to share concerns and prayer.  The men meet in Harper Hall at 8:30 a.m.and after enjoying a filling breakfast and lively conversation, they discuss the concerns of the church and the world which need prayer.  All men are invited to join this group. The cost of the meal is $6. Seventh's Seniors: This monthly gathering meets the fourth Thursday of the month in Harper Hall. Senior Adults meet at 10:30 for games followed by a potluck lunch at 12:00. For more information please contact the church office.
